Who we are

Jane Ireland

Jane Ireland is a dynamic and widely-respected professional in community engagement. In a career spanning 25 years, most of it working in Burnaby, she is recognized as being integral to many important community initiatives where diverse groups have worked together to successfully meet common goals.

Jane is best known for her role as an advisor, strategist, and counselor to elected officials and senior executives. Valued for her vision, integrity and dedication, she offers guidance and practical solutions for community and political organizations alike.

She is accomplished at providing leadership and building bridges between stakeholders and is well-connected and sought after by decision-makers and community leaders for strategic community and communications advice.

Lil Cameron

Lil Cameron has lived, worked and volunteered in Burnaby all of her adult life. With 25 years experience in administrative support, communications, financial support, human resources and office management, Lil is a seasoned and successful organizer, facilitator, and community activist.
Lil is extremely organized and detail oriented, calm under pressure, proactive and confident. She has a natural ability to develop and maintain constructive and co-operative working relationships at all levels.


Lil is skilled in conflict resolution, performance evaluation, negotiation, facilitating diverse learning, and building productive relationships with volunteers, clients and staff. Lil has worked with many sole proprietors, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations.


Luke Pickett

Luke Pickett is Seven League Consulting’s resident artist and web guru. Born in Melbourne, Australia he attended the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, completing two diplomas one in Visual Arts and the other in Printing and Graphic Arts specializing in Multimedia. Following his graduation Luke began to apply his talents to produce cartooning, graphic design, and web site development.

Luke’s passion lies in the creation of graphics that tell a story or send a message. He has created a wide variety of logos, brands and designs in a variety of different media.

Luke’s love of technology manifests itself in the development and design of websites and other multimedia productions. Blending art and technology allows him to create effective brand communications with a wide variety of clients.

Mark Ireland

Mark Ireland is a highly skilled and flexible professional with a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems and many years experience providing consultancy and training.

With an IT and cartographic background, Mark is able to blend maps and spatial data with the latest technology to deliver innovative solutions for businesses, non-profits, and election campaigns.

Mark has excellent writing and editing skills, and uses these for developing online communities, designing and delivering training programs, and facilitating knowledge transfer.

Mark ran as a candidate in the recent federal election, and is fully conscious of what social issues exist and how they impact on communities.
